MaxiTRANS said the decision to begin selling its six trailer and rigid body brands directly into the regions previously serviced by SX Trailers was made in order to allow SX to shift its focus towards new business objectives. The new arrangement will come into effect immediately, by mutual agreement.

MaxiTRANS Managing Director, Michael Brockhoff, said that the Company was committed to providing NSW customers with the highest quality trailers and in-field support. “We recognise the size and importance of the New South Wales market,” he said. “As such, MaxiTRANS will establish a wholly-owned dealership network for new and used trailer sales, combined with comprehensive service and parts capabilities.”

“Effective immediately, we have employed key existing SX Trailers’ sales staff Wayne Sloane, located at Warnervale, as well as Matthew Watson and Dean Price, located at Ingleburn, to ensure a smooth transition and to minimise any disruption to our customers,” Mr Brockhoff continued. “Contact information is available on our websites.”

SX Trailers will provide MaxiTRANS’ customers with interim service and warranty support in NSW as part of the arrangement.

All other dealers of MaxiTRANS brands in NSW will remain unchanged, with Hartwigs and Johnson’s to remain the Hamelex White dealers in central and south western NSW respectively, while Mildura Truck Centre remains the Freighter, Maxi-CUBE and Lusty EMS dealer in south western NSW.
